The Salar de Uyuni tour (usually 3 to 4 days) offers some of the most amazing landscapes in the world. At an altitude of 3,800 meters (12,000 feet), this dried out ancient sea, surrounded by volcanoes and colored lakes, will leave you breathless. Here are some pictures of the Salar of Uyuni and its surrounding region. Shawn Pouliot took the pictures during our 4 day tour that left from Tupiza and finished at the border of Chile.
Hi. I love your blog. I’m planning to go backpacking South America. Where did you stay for this tour in colombia?
Bolivia** hehe sorry
Thank you! We actually went around all Hostels and travel agencies in Tupiza to get the best deals 🙂 they negotiate really hard because of all the competition. Everyone has that ONE AMAZING DEAL, just need to find the one that fits your needs the best.
