Thumbnails are extremely important when it comes to YouTube videos. So far, I barely had any time to concentrate on that vital aspect of my channel. Thing is people are searching for something and they usually end up clicking the relevant thumbnails or one that looks really cool.
My YouTube Thumbnail Strategy
I decided to take the Vivo style at the bottom left; it reflects professionalism and quality branded material and replaced it with “Travel” In the middle of each Thumbnail decided to keep text at minimum with a great looking font. I used http://www.dafont.com/ to find a good font that fits my style. Then I took some HD pictures from around the web (usually wall papers) and made the contrast higher so text appears better.
Use Photoshop to create a template you can use over and over; I just need to change the picture and the text (take a 1 minute now!) So in the future it should be very fast!
BEFORE
The quality really isn’t that great and you can’t find conformity anywhere. People don’t really care about your logo except if you are already well known so I removed mine.
AFTER
You can see now its really professional. It almost looks like a music channel! You can see my full YouTube channel here. Backpaco YouTube Channel
